We are excited to share some good news with all of you! Our naturally gluten-free beers are now available outside the brewery – on draft – at a select number of locations. Below is a brief description of how we are expanding, why we are expanding and where you can find us…
At Aurochs, we are dedicated to changing the way the world experiences gluten-free beer! As you know, for us that starts with brewing great tasting, naturally gluten-free beers from great tasting, naturally gluten-free ingredients at our dedicated gluten-free brewery. We test all of our ingredients to ensure that nothing we use in our facility is unsafe for anyone who is medically required to follow a gluten-free diet.
That can be harder to manage when beer leaves our facility, however, we are extremely diligent when selecting our partners and delivering our beer. Before the beer leaves the facility, the keg port and top of the keg is covered with a sticker that identifies the beer as gluten-free. The sticker covers the keg port and must be removed before it is able to be tapped. Most importantly, our partners have agreed to specially clean our tap line or provided us with a dedicated draft line so that no barley based beer is left in the tap line prior to tapping our kegs.
We realize that we can not completely eliminate every possible opportunity for cross contamination in every single circumstance but we do everything in our control to do so. Additionally, our beer will soon be available in 22oz bottles for anyone who would prefer to enjoy our beer from a bottle, bottled at our dedicated gluten-free facility on dedicated equipment.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy the experience of drinking a great tasting beer while out with friends. Although we would like all of you to visit us in the tasting room, expanding beyond the brewery allows you to find us any day of the week and at some of your favorite local neighborhood haunts. If you would like to see us at your favorite spot send Doug an email at email@example.com.
